Einat Kessler
Alana de Fortier (Red Tin Roof)
I was born and raised in South Africa. Art and creativity has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. In 2005 I opened a scrapbooking store named “Scrap a Story,” a small shop on the top floor of our home that became the place for classes, and craft supplies for like-minded souls like me. It humbled me to get to know so many beautiful and talented people in my community. It was an exceptionally happy time in my life, and it taught me a great deal about business, people and relationships. In 2010 I sold my beloved business and my family moved to Canada. After the initial culture shock, I struggled to get my mojo back.
The world became too loud around me and inspiration got lost in the noise. After great debate I moved away from the city life of Calgary, AB. to a rural farming community, and it is with deep gratitude that I can say my hands are full of paint again!
Sharing art online is a whole new way of communicating with the world for me. Here you will find some new creations made by myself, some stories, new discoveries, and a place to visit and relax while viewing some creative eye candy. It may bring you inspiration for your own projects.
I welcome you with open arms into my home with the red tin roof.
